Free manicure service by >>> ME

I love to this hobby so much (doing manicure by my own...) that it can be said that almost every one week I’ll change a new design. I know its not healthy for the nails that we keep putting on nail polish without letting our nails to rest. So you all out there must let your nails rest once in a blue moon ya~

So as usual, I made new designs. Coincidently that day Miss Sharon saw that new design. She was impressed with what I could do. She even asked me to design her nails !!!  OMG, I was like just playing around with it only, didn’t expect anyone to ask me design their nails. I was so happy and nervous at the same time, worry that I might not live up to the expectation.

The first time designing some other people’s nail was in an office. Not an ordinary office but a tuition centre’s office. I can only say WOW to express the feeling. What a brand new experience indeed. At the end of the day, I managed to satisfy her more than what she has asked for.

Doing things I love really made me happy. I just hope that I can sustain this hobby of mine cause those nail polish are not cheap.

Nice? :p

Foods for Nails?

Nails are a protective layer at the end of our most sensitive part such as fingers and toes. They can be injured from accidents such as heavy walking or running. They can also be infected from bacterial or fungal infections. The nails are often a reflection of our overall health or nutritional deficiencies. There are some ways to listen to what your nails are trying to tell you are:

Iron/Protein/Calcium Deficiency = brittle, concave, ridged, white half moons

Too much salt = external fibrous growths

Nervousness / hyper thyroid = separation of the nail bed

Respiratory Difficulties = bluish discoloration

Bronchial Difficulties = yellowish discoloration

Anemia = pale nail beds

Vitamin A Deficiency = peeling nails

Zinc Deficiency = poor nail growth

Vegetable Quality Oils Deficiency = thin, brittle nails

Drinking orange juices will help in growth of your nails. If we put into practice for this method, it will help our toenails to be in good health. It will help to prevent many nail problems such as bending, peeling and cracking.

There are top 3 oils to keep our healthy nails

1. Coconut Oil: one of the few significant plant sources of lauric acid. This medium
chain fatty acid which is also found in human milk. It enhances brain function and the
immune system too. ^^

2. Palm Kernel: the high saturation oil is the one of the most stable
of oils providing strength and ultimate saturation to the skin.

3. Olive Oil: the most stable vegetable oil which is high in vitamin E, provides support to the
liver and gallbladder.

Pedicure At Home~

What we need?

  Nail polish remover

 Nail Filter

 Foot lotion

 Nail polish

1st step: Prepare warm water and put some amount of salt or shampoo.
-          Soak the feet in the water for 15 minutes. Remove the old nail polish.
-          Use a nail filter to smooth the edge of the nails.
We can also use an exfoliating scrub for the feet.
-          Wipe the feet dry with a towel.

2nd step: Massage your feet cream or lotion. Use a foot lotion with alpha hydroxy acids (AHA).  AHA’s gently exfoliate dry skin, allowing the moisturizer to fully absorb. This kind of lotion, in particular, is sheer and light, so we can put our shoes on minutes after applying without the feet feeling greasy. Pay special attention to the heels and other rough areas as you massage the moisturizer in.

3rd step: Use a toe separator to keep toenails from hitting each other and potentially smudging your polish. Paint toes with nail polish. Wait for a while for the polish to dry.

~Tips For Pedicure~
- A classic red nail polish will go with most colored shoes.
- Use a foot lotion nightly to keep heels and feet soft in between pedicures.
- Put on plastic to cover your feet if you are wearing covered shoes after the pedicure.

At the Zoo~

There are nail art designs that definitely spot the latest animal nail art trend which has the power to cheer up our appearance such as tiger, leopard and zebra prints. If you are one of the nail art fans you might take a look at the examples below to have some inspiration for your next manicure. ^^

Leopard Nail Design

Leopard prints are fabulous when paired with short or long nails. In this case, all we have to do is to decide whether you would like to create a printed tip manicure or would like to cover the whole surface with this print. The picture above show leopard print cover the whole surface of nails.

Zebra Nail Design

Zebra Prints are some of the most popular designs that do not professional skills to master them. What you need to do is just apply the base nail polish and leave it to dry. After that, decorate it with the various other colour. Combine the black and white tones or other more stylish colour as pink or black as well as gold and silver.

These special design would attract immediate attention from people and  make sure that you wear them for the perfect event. ^^

Fake or Natural Nails???

Nowadays, some people tend to use artificial nails or fake nails when they want to do the manicure. This may due to some people do not satisfy with the shape of their nails.  :S

One of the benefits of the artificial nails is that they are  more durable then natural nails. Nail polish can lasts much longer and usually doesn't chip. It's rare to break an artificial nail. There are 4 main types of artificial nails: Sculptured nails, Acrylic nails, Nail wraps using silk, linen and or fiberglass and Gel nails.

I love to paint my nails by myself, so I will not choose to use the artificial nails. :P This is because I prefer the natural look of nails.

The gradient nails

For example, I will like to try this gradient nails. ;) It involve a few colours from same series and a make up sponge. This is how we can do it by our own:

**So, you prefer fake nails or natural one?  ^^.

Marble manicure is another easy way to make ur nails colourful and beautiful. :) It just need to prepare a few colours of nail polish, a wooden stick and a cup of water.
