French Manicure



A French manicure is a style of polishing the nails where white paint is applied to the tips of the fingernails, and the rest of the nails are given a light colour coat. The French manicure is very good for short nails and nails that have a moderate length. It is easy to make it by our own but people always afraid to do that because the degree of accuracy needed for the job, and this is the reason why it costs extra when we make it at nail saloon. What we need are just nail polish and scotch tape.

1. Remove the old nail polish with nail polish remover.
2. After trimming and cleaning the nails, apply a base coat to the nails. Keep this base coat thin and even.
3. Afterwards, put a tape to your nail. This is supposed to cover the lower part of your nail as well as follow the curve of your nail tips natural white.
4. Apply white polish to the exposed tips of your fingernails, and then let them dry.
5. When the white polish on the tips of your fingernails is dry, remove the nail tip guides thoroughly.
6. Paint the entire length of your nails with a beige polish. Two coats of this polish may be necessary.
7. After this, put a layer of top coat on your nails.
8. Finally, dry your nails and make sure they dry completely.



Apply the base coat on your nails.


Stick the tape on the nails.


Choose the colour that you like to paint on the tips.


Remove the tape when the nail polish applied dried.


Apply top coat.

**To extend the life of your French manicure and to keep your nails nice and looking well-groomed, you should make it a point to apply an extra layer of top coat on your nails every night. ^^
