What we need?
Nail polish remover
Nail Filter
Foot lotion
Nail polish
1st step: Prepare warm water and put some amount of salt or shampoo.
- Soak the feet in the water for 15 minutes. Remove the old nail polish.
- Use a nail filter to smooth the edge of the nails.
We can also use an exfoliating scrub for the feet.
- Wipe the feet dry with a towel.
2nd step: Massage your feet cream or lotion. Use a foot lotion with alpha hydroxy acids (AHA). AHA’s gently exfoliate dry skin, allowing the moisturizer to fully absorb. This kind of lotion, in particular, is sheer and light, so we can put our shoes on minutes after applying without the feet feeling greasy. Pay special attention to the heels and other rough areas as you massage the moisturizer in.
3rd step: Use a toe separator to keep toenails from hitting each other and potentially smudging your polish. Paint toes with nail polish. Wait for a while for the polish to dry.
- A classic red nail polish will go with most colored shoes.
- Use a foot lotion nightly to keep heels and feet soft in between pedicures.
- Put on plastic to cover your feet if you are wearing covered shoes after the pedicure.
